New Templates

• Nooro Sales Page template — A complete long-form sales page — the very page used in the inspiration advertorial behind our Long Form Advertorial template, part of an advertorial-and-sales-page combo that drove eight figures in monthly revenue. Installable in one click from the web app.

New Blocks

• Reveal Cards block — An interactive grid where each card flips to reveal a variant swap or expands like a collapsible row on click. Built to fully replicate the new Seedroot product page.
• Media Text Overlay block — Place text directly over any media block, with an optional overlay, text shadow, and hover effects. A lighter, more flexible take on the Media Badge banner style.
• Spokesperson Card block — A container that prominently features a portrait of a spokesperson — an influencer, a doctor, a founder — beside custom content like text or icons, positioned to the left or right. Built to clone the new Nooro sales page.
• Icon + Heading List block — Build a list of icon rows that each pair a heading with supporting text, all from a single block. Previously this pattern meant stacking several separate Icon + Heading blocks.
• Animated Percentage List block — Configure several animated percentage items from one set of global settings, instead of adding and styling multiple separate Animated Percentage blocks.
• Badge List block — Lay out evenly-styled badges in a horizontal or vertical row from one block, without reaching for a Flex block and configuring each badge by hand.
• Marquee block — The Marquee, now available as a block you can drop inside parent blocks like Custom Columns — so you can stack a heading above a scrolling marquee without juggling multiple sections.
• Media Gallery Content block — Automatically duplicates any blocks you place beneath a Product Media block across viewports, so you no longer have to manually duplicate blocks and toggle their visibility per device. A big editing-time saver.
• Slide Image BG block — Add a full image background to any slide.
• Animated Badge block — A badge that shifts from one color scheme to another as a Timeline activates — purpose-built to pair with the Timeline block.
• Offer Perk + Subtext block — Works just like the existing Offer and Subscription perks, with an extra line of supporting text beneath each perk.
• Offer Perk Divider block — Add a divider — text-only or with a line — between perks inside your Offer or Subscription blocks, so you can segment perks, gifts, or anything else you stack in there.
• Lean blocks to fight the 512KB limit — New Simple Badge, Simple Link Button, and Guarantee Badge blocks: stripped-down variants for when you don't need deep customization, built to keep template file size down against Shopify's 512KB cap.

Improvements

• One-click theme install & update — Set up the Theme Access app from your dashboard to install and update the Sugar Theme — and install page templates to an existing theme — with a single click.
• Custom Code on every section — Every section, including global sections like the Cart Drawer and Header, now has a Custom Code input, so you (or your AI agent) can make custom changes without editing the section or block files directly.
• Currency codes off by default in most blocks — We turned currency codes off by default where most merchants prefer them off, while keeping them on for the Product Price, Buy Button, and Cart Checkout. You can still toggle them per block or disable them theme-wide with the master toggle.
• `[mbr]` mobile-only line break for Heading blocks — Add a line break that appears only on mobile — perfect for headings that sit cleanly on one line on desktop but need a deliberate break on smaller screens.
• `[price_per_X]` per-day pricing for Offers & Subscription — Show pricing on a per-day basis: [price_per_30] divides the price by 30, [price_per_60] by 60, and so on.
• `[quantity]` and `[br]` placeholders for the Subscription block — The Subscription block now supports the same [quantity] and [br] placeholders as the Offers block.
• Ordinal dynamic dates — Dynamic dates can now render with ordinals (e.g. March 21st) in Godlike Text, the Heading blocks, Testimonial Grid, Testimonial Slider, and the Announcement bar.
• Side Comparison upgrades — A new above-text image position so columns can stack image over text on desktop, larger product images, an image overflow setting for a half-in/half-out look, additional desktop icon positions and row alignments, multiple icon types and sizes in table rows, and an improved smart color mode against dark backgrounds.
• Timeline line endings & separate active colors — Decide whether the timeline line continues, stops, or ends with an arrow or a fade after the last milestone, plus a new toggle for controlling active and inactive colors independently.
• Alternating Media + Text row dividers — Add a divider — a plain line or a line with an icon — between rows, with controls for color, spacing, and the icon.
• Icon + Text List highlights, location placeholders & visibility — A new Text Highlight option (like the highlight in text and Offer blocks), dynamic [city] and [country] placeholders, and a per-viewport Container Visibility toggle to hide or show the container on desktop or mobile — handy for keeping above-the-fold sections tight.
• Classic Comparison desktop features column — A Features desktop row-width setting to extend the features row, plus a right-alignment option so features hug the columns — both especially useful inside full-width columns.
• Review Avatars & Stars — Up to 6 avatars (from 5), a new inline stars position that places the stars in line with the text along with a star-to-text spacing slider, and horizontal and vertical padding on the Review Stars container.
• Fade to Outline hover — A new Fade to Outline option for the Fill hover effect on the Link Button, Buy Button, and Checkout Button.
• Link Button custom width — Set a specific button width directly, instead of relying on oversized horizontal padding.
• Media Benefits Grid tablet polish — The grid now scales its icons, labels, and text fluidly between 750px and 1200px so the cards no longer clip when the gallery sits at half width on tablets, and labels and text now support [sup]...[/sup] superscript for footnote marks.
• Gift List free color — A new Free Color option lets the Block Container's free label use its own color instead of inheriting from the Gift List.
• Offers secondary badge position & text transform — Place the secondary badge to the right of the Offer Title in the vertical layout (best for short titles), and a new Text Transform option so Offer badges aren't locked to uppercase.
• Marquee in the Header Group — Add a Marquee as a section in the Header Group for global marquees across your whole store.
• Marquee track icon color & Animated Percentage thousands grouping — Set the icon color on the Marquee track, and add separators to Animated Percentage values.
• Product Media Gallery placeholder — The Product Media Gallery now shows a placeholder image when none is uploaded in the Shopify admin, and both columns no longer collapse onto each other when the gallery is empty.
• Tablet responsiveness for Icon + Text List & Custom Columns — Both now hold up far better at tablet widths.

Bug Fixes

• Link Button full width inside containers — The full-width setting now works correctly when the Link Button sits inside containers like the Flex block.
• Icon + Heading + Text icon placement — In the top-left and top-right positions, the icon is no longer stranded off to the side when a long heading wraps to a second line.
• Contact Form success message — The success message now displays properly after a submission.
• Animated Percentage jitter — Fixed excessive layout shift and jitter with fonts that lack tabular numbers, such as Inter.
• Animated Percentage circle on mobile — The circle number type no longer changes size based on the length of its text on mobile.
• Section Animations rendering — Fixed an issue where section animations could occasionally stop content from rendering.
• Icon + Text List stretch — List items now stretch correctly when Container List Item is enabled in Stretch width mode.
